Andrew Hiemstra MBA, Dip. Ag. Andrew is a family business advisor and accountant with 17 years experience in primary agriculture, farm/small business banking, and taxation enabling him to help families with their accounting, succession, and strategic planning needs. In his work at a professional accounting firm, Andrew developed skills in taxation, succession planning, and accounting procedures and gained a thorough knowledge of farm government programs. As a branch and regional manager for a major chartered bank, Andrew worked directly with farmers in their lending and investment needs and provided support as an agrologist. Keeping current on farm issues is a priority through on-farm client meetings, local and government information sessions, and the Ontario Farmer. Andrew serves on the council and mission board of his local church. He coaches hockey and participates annually in the Watford-Alvinston Road Race.
