David entered the financial services business in 1993 after retiring from a successful legal career in Wynyard, Saskatchewan during which time his practice focused on wills, estates, matrimonial, and farm related law. He is also a qualified mediator. In 1997 he co-founded and became president of Discovery Financial Group Ltd. a financial services company with offices across Saskatchewan. He has written and taught a Farm Estate Planning course for SIAST and is on the panel of seminar speakers for Agriculture Institute of Management in Saskatchewan. His practice now specializes in succession planning for farmers and small business owners.
