Victor Aideyan
Since 2000, Victor has primarily been responsible for managing commodity marketing initiatives for Farms.com’s trading arm. The company’s physical commodity trade exceeded $70 million during 2004 alone. Victor is also responsible for developing specialized price protection contracts backed by derivatives traded on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and the Chicago Board of Trade. Apart from the in-house marketing risk managed by Victor’s unit, Farms.com Risk Management also works with a wide range of clients across North America in swine and grain marketing. Victor’s area of expertise encompasses marketing and price risk for pork producers as well as for producers of corn and soybeans. His other key functions include: The development and marketing of online offerings and services, such as the Swine Group Matrix and the Grain Pricing Platform, aimed at assisting Farms.com clients in the grain and swine industries. Victor has made numerous presentations to groups across the USA and Canada and is a sought-after speaker who possesses considerable experience when it comes to explaining and sharing his knowledge of marketing price risk and strategies for addressing this problem.
