John R. Kennedy

John Kennedy was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 1977. He received his education at the Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario (H.B.A., Dean’s Honors List) and the University of Toronto (LLB). One of the founding partners of Berg Kennedy Cleaver Broad LLP which merged with Siskinds in July 2002, he practices in the area of corporate commercial law, with a major focus on corporate reorganizations, business acquisitions, project financing and secured lending, estate and succession planning. John also has considerable experience in commercial real estate development, leasing and transactions.

John is an active participant in the community and has taken a leadership role in local and national organizations.
