Don McCannell

Don is the President of McCannell Financial Group Ltd. and My Financial Group Ltd.

Don became an independent financial planner in 1995 after 16 years with a Class A Financial Bank and Trust Company in the wealth management and lending areas. He has 23 years of experience in all aspects of financial services, lending, investments, estate planning, retirement planning, tax planning and trusts.

Don has developed My Financial Group Ltd. to provide a fee for service, planning business through the trade name of My Farm Group and My Financial Planning Group.

Don is the CEO of BASM Financial Network, which has financial services offices in nine locations in Western Canada. This group specializes in all areas of financial services and planning, group insurance and pensions.

Don and his wife Susan have been married for 29 years and they have two adult children, Chris and Deanna.
